1. Introduction

NOTE-KU ("we", "our", or "us") is a sudoku application and method developed by NOTE-KU LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the NOTE-KU app at noteku.app and note-ku.app.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. NOTE-KU stores all game data locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This includes your player name, NoteCoins balance, owned items, active theme, and saved game state. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

3. Advertising

NOTE-KU uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. NOTE-KU itself does not collect or process any data related to advertising.

4. Children's Privacy

NOTE-KU is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Since no personal data is collected by our app, NOTE-KU is safe for children to use. Parents and guardians can review or delete locally stored game data by clearing their browser's localStorage at any time.

5. Your Rights

EU/EEA users (GDPR): Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our end. You may clear your local game data at any time through your browser settings.

California users (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information beyond what is stored locally on your device.

Argentine users (Ley 25.326): No personal data is collected, stored, or processed by NOTE-KU on any server. All data remains on your device.

6. NoteCoins

NoteCoins are the in-app virtual currency of NOTE-KU. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded, and exist solely within the NOTE-KU app on your device.

7. Third-Party Services

NOTE-KU uses Google AdSense for advertising. Google's privacy policy applies to their services and can be found at policies.google.com/privacy. We use Netlify to host our app. Netlify's privacy policy can be found at netlify.com/privacy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of NOTE-KU after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
